Speaking on the response received for the camp, Prof. A.V. Jayanthan (IIT Madras Coordinator, MTTS programme) said, “This camp is a novel math programme to train the students to think math and also motivate them to pursue Higher Education in Math. We do not believe in the regular camps.
All the sessions are interactive, where students come up with theorems and discussions. Also through this programme, we want Math to be looked upon as a science by quoting real life situations. Discussions, interactions, experiments, presentations form the basic model of conducting this camp. Individual attention is given to students to help them learn Math better".
