With 646 participants, Aasife Biriyani enters Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records
Chennai, May 02, 2016: The Great Biriyani Challenge has become bigger with hundreds of participants at the 3rd edition hosted at the taste of Madras Food fest. The challenge was to finish one packet of biriyani as quick as possible, blindfolded. Mr. Muthu Kumaran was announced the winner after eating one pack of Chicken Biriyani in just 40 seconds. The winner was awarded cash prize of Rs.10,000 by Mr. C. Y. Aasife Ahmed, Managing Director, Aasife Biryani Pvt. Ltd.
The competition was hosted at The Taste of Madras Food Fest amidst thousands of onlookers. 200 kgs of Chicken Biriyani have been cooked to serve at the competition. 646 participants fought for this exclusive challenge to be announced the winner, first runner-up and the second runner-up of the Biriyani Challenge

This achievement is momentous and a great motivation for us.”
