Chennai, July 2017, Zee Tamil viewers wait eagerly every week for their special treat, Weekend with Stars. Anchored by the multi-faceted actor-writer-director, Suhasini Manirathnam, the first episode kicked off with Khusboo and now things are getting even more exciting. During the coming week, it’s time for a close up with Oscar-Award winner A. R. Rahman.
The first portion of the interview was telecast on 9th July but viewers need not worry if they missed it as the next episode will be aired on 16th July. The show will have Suhasini keeping up the lively stream of banter and insights into the mind of this genius, A. R. Rahman, his soulful outpouring of music, his working style, his upcoming films and so much more.
The show will also be pepped up with other personalities. Playback singers Harini, Srinivas, Unni Menon, Vijay Prakash, Haricharan and Arjun Chandy share their experiences of working with the music legend and perform a medley of his songs. Viewers can also catch Kabali Music director Santhosh Narayanan sharing fond memories of the time spent with the Mozart of Madras!

Renowned lyricist Pa. Vijay enthrals by sharing his comic and sustained attempts to get an appointment with ARR. Sami Durai who goes back many years as his assistant, opens up on the tough 25 years of hardships the Maestro had undergone and their journey together.
