July 12th 2017: GoCoop, India’s first national award winning online marketplace for weavers and artisans organized ‘Go Swadeshi – Our weaves, our pride’- a one of a kind five-day exhibition at Kalinga Cultural Hall, Road No.12,Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
Indian Film Actress, Founder Blue Cross, Amala Akkineni formally inaugurated the Expo, by lighting the traditional Lamp.
“Exhibition showcases a wide range of exquisite Handloom sarees and products by weavers and artisans from across the country will be held from GoCoop’s ‘Go Swadeshi’ is an attempt to reinstate the pride in hand-spun, hand-woven and handcrafted products and to encourage people to indulge in the rich handloom traditions of India” Says Siva Devi Reddy – Founder. The exhibition also gives a unique opportunity for weavers and artisans to sell their produce directly to the consumers”he added.
