Riding madly off in all directions is a play directed by renowned actor Naseeruddin Shah, based on writings by the Canadian humourist Stephen Leacock. Besides Shah himself, the play features his wife Ratna Pathak Shah, and children Heeba Shah, Imaad Shah and Vivaan Shah. It is to be staged on 11th June at the Music Academy in Chennai.
The play draws inspiration from Canadian writer Stephen Leacock's writings and stand-alone acts. It presents a unique and subtle type of humor, easily appreciable and enjoyable by audiences of all ages. It’s a complete, humorous family entertainment. The play is well knitted to present a sleek and humorous take on all pedantic instances, which is aptly supported by the passion and demeanour of the acting ensemble.
