Application window open for music production and music performance courses
Chennai, 22 December, 2016: Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, Asia’s Premier Music Institute for contemporary music invites applications for Spring 2017 trimester from India and abroad. Scheduled to begin in the month of January, the music production and music performance programs will enable the students to master the various nuances of music.
The students will benefit from Spring 2017 trimester with a perfect mélange of internationally acclaimed faculty from various countries and a personalized academic setting. The faculty line-up for this trimester includes Multi-Grammy award winning mix engineer Thomas Juth (Sweden) – Music Production Faculty, Eleonora Bianchini (Italy) – Voice Faculty, Karina Colis (Mexico) – Drums Faculty, Gabriel Geszti (Brazil) – Piano Faculty, Raghuraman Ramasubramanian (India) Guitar Faculty, Sreyas Narayanun (India) Carnatic Voice Faculty, Umayalpuram Mali (India) Carnatic Percussion & Paul Waller (United Kingdom) - Electronic Music Production Faculty.
Spring 2017 will introduce the students to music theory, harmony, performance studies & skills, music production and technology, and also lay strong foundation in the field of music. During the course, the students have access to state-of-the-art facilities, ensemble rooms, recording studios, technology labs and classrooms.
As part of Spring 2017 trimester, S.A.M. in association with Garnish Music Production School, United Kingdom will offer short-term courses streamlined for Electronic Music Production. This 4 week course will aim to educate industry professionals and intermediate users on software like Ableton and Logic to improve their skills to produce industry standard records.
The application window for the Spring trimester will be open till 28th December 2016. The course offers a competitive fee structure inclusive of tuition fee, food and accommodation in fully furnished service apartments.

* Four Year Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance (in association with McNally Smith College of Music, Minnesota, USA)
* Indian Music Program (10 weeks)
* Electronic Music Production (4 weeks)
