Roots Institutions celebrate Graduation & Freshers' day with great fun and frolic
Hyderabad, 1st October, 2016: Roots Institutions celebrated Graduation & Freshers' day marking pomp and gaiety on Saturday at Hotel Marigold. There was euphoria and jubilation amongst the freshers and outgoing students, excited about a promising future ahead.
The glittering Convocation ceremony had students being conferred with degrees by the Chief Guest Sri Dr. A. Ashok, lAS, Commissioner & Secretary, Board of Intermediate, Telangana State. Students excelling in academics were felicitated with awards and Gold and silver medals. Guests of Honor and distinguished dignitaries Ms Maya Padhya, Business Head for TELECOM PASSIVE Infrastructure and MS Shilpa Jain an leon with a background of grooming students of various finishing Schools, were present on the occasion.
The eye-catching moment of the solemn event was the Graduation March "Where the Chief guest, guests of honor, the chairman of the college, the campus directors, the faculty and the graduate students marched in synchrony to the beats of the graduation music led by the student marshals. The day also witnessed the convocation of the graduates of the B.B.A. and B.A. Mass communication streams. Awarding of gold and silver medals and mementos to the toppers of the different years of B.B.A., B.A. Mass Communication, B.Com., and Intermediate was a moment to reckon with. The Students of Edexcel batches of L3 & L4 BTEC were awarded Edexcel, International UK certificates. ROOTS BUSINESS SCHOOL is one of its kind to, offer Edexcel, UK, Toastmaster International club and Renowned CII Programme.
Addressing the students Sri Dr. A. Ashok said, your Institution and faculty have laid a strong foundation for a golden path and it's for each of you to harness the knowledge and your inherent talent to make a mark in the wide world, full of opportunities. There is no dearth of prospects for industry ready students and for anyone with the right aptitude sky's the limit, he pointed out.
The formal Graduation ceremony gave way to freshers day - “NOVATO FIESTA" in the afternoon. The students had a gala time. Electrifying ramp walk by the freshers in designer wear raised the temperature, which was further kindled by an exhilarating dance with the theme 'COLORS.' Solo performances set the stage on fire with soul lifting performances. The event provided a perfect opportunity for seniors and juniors to mingle and build a bonding of lifetime. The colourful events were judged fairly by our guests Ms Maya Padhy & Ms Shilpa Jain.
