Expands its footprint in the sixth city in India with cafes present in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Vizag
Bengaluru, July, 2016: This Monsoon, the city of Bengaluru is all set and geared up as ‘Tea Trails’ launches its first outlet at Koramangala. Tea Trails offers a gourmet tea drinking experience to the discerning consumer and brings to India the fast emerging international trend with a desi twist. Zone8 Tea World Pvt Ltd that runs Tea Trails brand cafes across various cities in India is expanding manifold.
Launched in late 2013 by a group of entrepreneurs with successful track records, Tea Trails has embarked on an interesting journey of changing the rules of the game in the cafe space. Tea Trails serve gourmet teas from around the world and have an exquisite range of teas from hot to cold and simple to extravagant.
Offering customers a chance to experience over 80 varieties of teas with various blends and added benefits, flavors range from white to green tea and oolong to herbal tea along with a variety of freshly brewed chais like adrak, pudina, masala, lemongrass, to choose from. Tea Trails also offers bubble teas like the Taiwanese Bubble Tea and Tapioca Bubble Tea. It further specializes in elaborately tea-infused food menu. The signature tea infused dishes include Burmese Tea Salad, Tea Marbled Eggs, Tea Infused Thai Bowl and more.
The brand has now embarked on a pan India expansion strategy that is a combination of company owned and franchised outlets. After witnessing success and overwhelming response in Mumbai, Tea Trails has expanded in other cities as well. The brand is now present in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi and Vizag. The company is launching its newest cafes in Pune shortly too. Tea Trails launching cafes in other cities is also in the pipeline. The company aims to open 500+ outlets by 2020.
The interiors of Tea Trails are based on the size of the outlet, interior designing, seating arrangements and the menu offered. They are in Cafe, Bistro, Mini Cafe and Kiosk formats across various cities and in Bengaluru it is a bistro.
Speaking about the new launch, Uday Mathur, co-owner says, “Brewing tea is an ancient art which is seldom paid attention to. We, at Tea Trails, understand the importance of brewing and steeping high quality loose leaf teas to perfection, without which, the experience of drinking tea cannot be enjoyed to its fullest.”
