Peppers TV proudly present brand new TV show “Nammoor Aattam” dance show. “Nammoor Aattam” set up in village backdrop and introduces in the dance talents from rural areas.
Unique about “Nammoor Aatam” is that, Dance based reality shows are usually conducted in the respective channel’s studios. But “Nammoor Aattam”, goes to villages and holds the competition right there, where the participants are comfortable in a familiar setting. The whole idea is to encourage amateur and professional dancers from villages to participate in TV shows.
Reason to conduct dance show in villages is that, many interested participants from the villages found it difficult to leave their villages and livelihoods, and come to Chennai to participate in a show. So, Peppers team thought, why not shoot in the village itself! We have started the selection round and will be covering as many villages as possible. The team recently went to a village near Kundrathur.
The participants are also allowed to choose their own songs and Peppers team got some talented participants from the first round. It was a surprise to see several dance forms. We will select around five participants for the knockout round, and only for the finale, will be bring the participants to Chennai.
The show is hosted by Gorgeous Riya and Prabudeva’s carbon copy Savaalram. Kollywood dance master Ravi Dev is judging the show at present. The team also plans to rope in as many dance choreographers as possible from Tamil film industry.
