Bengaluru, 29 June, 2016: Global SCRUM Gathering Bengaluru 2016, a unique and one of the most sought after platforms for the SCRUM enthusiasts from across the globe, concluded here at Shangri La in Bengaluru today. Themed on “SCRUM Beyond Boundaries : 20 Years of SCRUM”, the three-day Global SCRUM Gathering Bengaluru 2016 was attended by over 400 delegates from 21 countries, including India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, The United Kingdom, The United States, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Vietnam, Finland, Austria amongst others.
Dr. Kiran Bedi, Hon’bleLt. Governor, Puducherry was invited by AgiVetta Consulting as the keynote speaker at this Global SCRUM Gathering. In her keynote address, Dr Bedi shared a first of its kind Twitter Presentation ‘Scrum-ble in Puducherry’ that showcased scalable public practices being employed for the betterment of civic life. Dr. Bedi also interacted with the Scrum attendees during a book-signing session of 'Creating Leadership' which talks about her experiences from the illustrous administrative career. Dr Bedi also narrated how successfully she has applied the Agile Methology in her charitable ventures India Vision Foundation and Navjyoti India Foundation.
As a part of its social commitments, AgiVetta Consulting is going to work in tandem with the office of the Lt Governor, Puducherry to offer ‘Scrum for Governance’ by providing Agile training to the students in schools, colleges, universities and Government employees in the Union Territory.
