MX100 combines the best features of the company’s widely popular M-series and X-series which have over 2.5 million seats installation in Asia alone. MX100 rewrites new affordability standards in shared computing by slashing as much as 65% in acquisition cost, 80% in maintenance cost and 90% in energy cost when compared to an all PC-based solution.
Designed based on input from existing customers, MX100 is available in two models – MX100 Direct (MX100D) and MX100 Standard (MX100S). The MX100D (Direct model) connects through a PCI express card which is bundled with the kit. The power of the host computer is shared with multiple users without the need of a switch or any 3rd party hardware or software. “It is an enhanced version of NComputing’s popular X-series.
The MX100D is designed based on input collected from thousands of customers over the last two years and provides a great out-of-the-box experience. There are significant enhancements to the number of supported users on a single host, and greater distance connectivity providing expanded deployment options.”, according to Manjunath Revanasiddappa, Product Manager of MX-series at NComputing.
