40-hour non-stop Yoga performance to enter Guinness Book of Records, On June 11 and 12 @University of Madras
Chennai, June 2016: Chennai is to have a rejuvenating experience watching a continuous 40-hour yoga performance by 43 disciples of Mahayogam Organisation at Senate House, University of Madras.
Commencing at 7 am on June 11, the event being arranged in association with the Department of Yoga of University of Madras, is aimed at bigger outreach for bringing a positive change in the society and building a strong and healthy India.

Being conducted a head of the International Yoga Day (to be observed on June 21), the event is to showcase more than 600 asanas in repeats.
The extraordinarily long stunt, manifesting the might of yoga, by Mahayogam will make heads turn by breaking its earlier 32-hour Limca Book of Records and entering the bigger league–Guinness Book of Records. “India gave yoga to the world. Though Indians started realising the values of Yoga, more efforts are needed for increased awareness. Mahayogam is organising the event to reiterate on the advantages that yoga would bring us if it becomes our way of life. Yoga is the panacea that will not only set right our physical problems but cure the psychological illness as well,” said Mr. Ramesh Rishi of Mahayogam Foundation.
