Mumbai, June 10th – June 26th, 2016: With the sprawling success of the ‘Child reading to Child’ story telling initiative by Landmark over the last 2 years, here’s a platform for young avid readers and story tellers to hone their narrative skills yet again. Get a chance to meet our very own William Wordsworth at his residence in Mussoorie, Landour this season to experience the magic of reading!
*About ‘Child Reading to Child’ initiative with Scholastic India & Ruskin Bond
Landmark in association with Scholastic will be conducting auditions in multiple cities and there will be selected 5 winners for the story telling competition. These five winners get a golden opportunity to travel and meet Ruskin Bond at his residence personally to inculcate the art of storytelling from the master himself. These children then become the official story tellers for landmark and will be part of the events schedule.
*Details of the competition
The storytelling competition was conducted for children between 6yrs to 14yrs of age. Children were judged by renowned authors who were a part of the panel. With multiple titles in partnership with Scholastic books for the activity, participating kids can select any one of the titles, from which they read out a story on the activity day, to other children.
