New Delhi 6th June, 2016 - Ricky Donison clinched Senior Max title in the opening round of the 13th JK Tyre-FMSCI National Rotax Championship at the Meco Kartopia track, The 2014 National Rotax Max junior champion Donison of BPC Racing topped the heats and continued his red-hot form to clinch the race comfortably. The event was held in MECO Kartopia.
Ricky Donison a Bengaluru boy aged about 17 has been dominating the race in the Senior Max category right from the beginning. At the event he came stood first and second position was taken by Ameya Bafna while the third position was taken by Nayan Chatterjee. Ricky finishing is back with a bang for the 2016 championship he has won the first leg in Bangalore.
The event was held in three categories
IN SENIOR MAX CATEGORY
1st place Ricky Donison - from Bengaluru
2nd place Ameya Bafna
3rd place - Nayan Chatterjee
The remaining four legs are to be held in Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Kolhapur and final leg is again at Hyderabad. The winner will represent India at the world championship.
