IIT Madras CSIE plans summer camp for school students

IIT Madras Centre for Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CSIE) plans summer camp on “Social Innovation through Technology” for school students

Chennai, May 12, 2016: Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a pioneer research center in the area of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, under the umbrella of IIT Madras, is conducting its 3^rd edition of a 3-day Summer Camp for School Students on 'Social Innovation through Technology' from May 18^th to 20^th, 2016 at IIT Madras. The focus of the programme is to spread awareness among school students, about the role of technology and entrepreneurship to solve socially relevant issues. The training programme has been arranged in two sessions per day.

It is open to students of class 11^th and 12^th having a science background. Interested students can register through this website www.csie.iitm.ac.in. The registration fees of Rs. 500 can be directly paid on the first day of the programme. Fees will be waived for students from government schools. Registration are open and the last day for the registration is May 15^th, 2016.
