Tamil Nadu cricketer (Leg spinner) M Ashwin, who was snapped by Rising Pune Supergiants for Rs 4.5 cr in the Indian Premier League players auction which was held on Saturday in Bengaluru, is the son of famous writer Era Murugan of Unnai Pol Oruvan fame.
