Chennai, 26th February 2016: Turning back the clock to the 80’s, Phoenix MarketCity is all set to burn the dance floor by presenting the 'Rewind- Retro Festival' with internationally acclaimed bands from the 80’s, Ottawan and Kaoma, who will be performing their chartbuster tunes!
Kaoma is a French-Brazilian Pop group comprising of ChycoDru on the bass, Jacky Arconte on the guitars, Jean-Claude Bonaventure beating the drums, Michel Abihssira on the percussion, Fania on the vocals and LoalwaBraz as the lead singer.
Ottoman, the talented duo, comprises of Esther and Robert Walker, who will reel out their scintillating hits and foot-tapping tunes.
Rolling two musical treats into a retro fiesta, Ottawan and Kaoma, will recreate magic for the Chennaities with their popular upbeat songs. Kaoma, is known for their famous dance number ‘Lambada’; a song that was synonymous with every party, wedding and music festival in town.
Ottawan, , who captivated the world audience with unforgettable music hits like ‘D.I.S.C.O.’ and ‘Hands Up (Give Me Your Heart)’, ‘Shalalala’, etc.; promises to provide a memorable evening of music and dance grooves.
