CHENNAI: The basketball boys team of Velammal emerged winners by defeating St.Peters Hr.Sec. School, Royapuram with a score of 72-58 and won a cash prize of Rs. 6000 and a trophy in 85th Bertram Memorial Inter School Basketball Tournament conducted by Loyola College, Chennai recently. The management appreciated the team for their sportive spirit.
