Titan’s youngest brand Taneira organises first, exclusive exhibition in Chennai
A collection of handwoven sarees handpicked from across the country will be available at the Taneira exhibition cum sale
Chennai, 08 September 2017: Taneira, the youngest brand from Titan will host its first exhibition cum sale in Chennai between 14th to 17th of September at Luz Mylapore, with close to 2000 unique sarees on display.
Visitors at the show will be able to experience and shop Taneira’s exquisite collection of handwoven and handcrafted sarees such as Mugas from Assam, cottons from Chettinad, Tussars from Bhagalpur, Ikats from Gujarat, Andhra and Orissa; Jamdhanis from Bengal, Chikankari work from Lucknow, exotic and classical Banarasi silks; exquisite Kanjeevarams; Heirloom pieces like Patan Patolas and Muslin Jamdhanis to name a few.
Speaking about the trunk show Ms. Shyamala Ramanan, Business Head for Taneira, Titan Company Limited said, “Our last few trunk shows in Bangalore, Indore, Bhopal and Hyderabad have received an overwhelming response. This approach of showcasing a variety of sarees from across the country has helped us study and understand consumer preferences. We have seen that women in India are quite experimental and open when it comes to having sarees of different kinds and regions.

The showcase at Luz will have a wide range of products in the affordable price band – starting from Rs. 1500. Some of the exclusive products for Chennai will be Balucharis, Swarnacharis, Parsigara amongst others.
