A boon for IAS aspirants from remote areas

“The major challenge faced by many students, who are preparing for civil service examinations is travelling, particularly if they are from the rural parts of the state. Online coaching is the best solution for these aspirants as it not only provides them with the proper training and also saves time, which can be used for better preparation,” said Mr. Israel Jebasingh IAS, Founder and Director, Officers IAS Academy. “Online Coaching now enables them to study in the comfort of their home and also helps in bringing down the cost of travel, boarding & lodging etc. Most of our students log in to online coaching apart from classroom coaching to ensure that they are abreast with developments happening all over and in different spheres.”

He added, “Many aspirants, who due to their busy schedule are unable to attend regular classes. To address this need and to help aspirants pursue their dream of becoming an IAS, Officers IAS Academy’s Online Coaching provides high quality videos, giving the feel of sitting in actual classrooms. This help students to access tutoring from anywhere, anytime. Apart from videos, students who are enrolled in this program can get their doubts cleared over phone and email with respective subject faculties. In future, we are planning to have contact classes in various locations, depending on the number of students from that place.”

Eventually it will become one stop information centre for both aspiring and serving Officers. The name of the site is derived by a term coined by Shri Sardar Vallabhai Patel to name the Civil Servants of the country – “Steel Frame of India”.

“There is dedicated team working on this project, who gather important/related news articles significant to Civil Service Exams, from authentic sources and segregate & compile them onto the website. The articles are reviewed by a think tank of Officers at the academy. It will cover relevant FACTS for Prelims and ANALYSIS for Main exams relating to current affairs. Key facts from the news stories are highlighted which cuts down the time to comprehend the full information received, making it much more easier for the students to make points for revision.”
