Chennai, 26th August 2017: The 10th National Indian Society of Prosthodontics-Restorative-Periodontics ,2017 is being held in Chennai Trade Centre. This scientific extravaganza event for Three days, 25th - 27th August 2017, is hosted by SRM Dental College, Ramapuram, Chennai. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. K.Ravi, Dean, SRM Dental College, Ramapuram .This one of a kind event which integrates three different dental specialities in a single platform, is being held for the first time in Tamilnadu. Three international speakers are presenting their experience and expertise. There are around 800 delegates participating from all over the country and honing their skills and benefitting from the various scientific sessions.
The event also included pre-conference events which was held on 25th August in various dental colleges across Chennai, which gave “Hands On” experiences to the delegates. Dr. K.Ravi, Dean, SRM Dental College, Ramapuram during the inauguration says “according to the national survey conducted by the dental council of india in 2016, 83% of the current population in India suffer from gum disease and 66.5% are estimated to have tooth loss. Such a grim scenario requires an amalgamation of different specialities and this 10th National ISPRP conference enhances that.”
Dr. HENRY HO, Singapore "Implant esthetics - A Balance of Biology and Technology" and Dr. ANIL KISHEN, Toronto, Canada "Rethinking External Root Resorption" were the two international speakers shared their knowledge
The ISPRP President Dr.CV.Pradeep, Secretary Dr.Rajesh Shetty , Organizing Chairman Dr.B.Muthukumar, Organizing Secretary Dr.D.J.Victor and Scientific Chairman Dr.Mahalakshmi are jointly organizing this event. There are around 200 scientific presentations in this conference which will enhance the scientific knowledge and contribute to the success of the event.
