Russian Centre of Science and Culture at Alwarpet to host 3-day art camp 'Energy of Friendship - Brush strokes'

* The art camp to culminate with the inauguration of a week-long exhibition of the works
Chennai, Aug 2017: In commemoration of 71st year of Indian Independence and 70th anniversary of India-Russia Diplomatic Relations, ROSATOM (Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation) is organising 3-day (Aug 23 – Aug 25) art camp 'Energy of Friendship - Brush strokes' at Russian Centre of Science and Culture.
The camp will have 10 artists approaching the subject in their unique styles and depicting the energy of friendship through their creative strokes and vibrant colours of Acrylic, Water colours and oil paints. Portraying Kudankulam Energy Centre will be one of the art works. The camp is to include few abstract pieces as well.
Curated by artist Aakshat Sinha and himself participant of the camp, the event will have practicing artists, architect-artist and animator-artists of Chennai giving shape to ideas that caught their imagination.
Artists Padmanaban V., Krishnan P., N. V. Sri Hari, Sanghavi U. K., Naren Know, Vidya Sundar, Praveen Chrispugg, Sumitha Sundaram, and Murugesan are others taking part in the camp. Aakshat Sinha lives and works in Delhi and has organized many national and international exhibitions.
The art camp will culminate on 25th August and the exhibition of the works created during the camp will be open to public for a week and till September 1, 2017.
