As part of the three-day ROSATOM (Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation) Festival of Science inaugurated in the city on 25th July, 2017, the ASE Group of Companies, a subsidiary of ROSATOM, is screening Russian Animation Films at B.M. Birla Planetarium in Kotturpuram, every day between 11 am and 3 pm and till 27th July, 2017.
ROSATOM works on a global scale to provide comprehensive nuclear services that range from uranium enrichment to nuclear power plant design and construction. ROSATOM constructed Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) in India operated by Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL).
The spectators will view popular Russian animation series that have already gained global acknowledgement. The characters of the movies well-loved by the Russian and foreign children and grown-ups, such as Be-be-bears, Paper Tales, Rolando Locomotiv, Magic Lantern, Leo & Tig, Fantasy Patrol, are sure to catch the fancy of the Indian spectators.
“Considering the taste of the audience, the festival is screening the best, most popular and most charming animation films and animation series produced in Russia. The festival organizers have taken care to acquaint the guests with the movie characters with the help of the state-of-the-art technologies – digital computer games and 3D programs,” said Tatiana Tsyvareva – editor-in-chief of “Karusel”, the channel for children and teenagers, general producer of “Mult” channel.
“These are the popular films and have been translated into 10 languages namely Chinese, English, Spanish, Japanese, Indonesian, German, French, Portuguese, Arabic and Hindi for worldwide audience,” she added.
ASE Group of Companies is conducting the event in partnership with the largest Russian state media-holding `All-Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Company’ and with children’s television channel `Mult’.
Within the framework of the Festival, interaction with Russian participants on new projects, about creation of an animation movie, safe nuclear energy and explanation to the queries of the journalists and the public has been arranged.
