The Grand Finale of Mrs Chennai 2017 took place on 24th June, 2017 at Sir Mutha Venkata Subba Rao Concert Hall in presence of some big names including Suhasini, K.S. Ravikumar, Vivek Karunakaran, Jayashree Ravi, CSS Latha, Dr. Kamala Selvaraj and Karthik Srinivasan. Singer Karthik gave a soulful performance with his live concert that was organized as part of the finale.
Conceptualized by Adgear Media Pvt Ltd, Mrs. Chennai 2017 celebrated the personality, intelligence and talent of women and was envisioned for this specific purpose. The Grand Finale was a spectacular event of music, entertainment and talent. This was the 16th edition of this long-running pageant.
It was a contest with a difference where women were tested on various aspects ranging from their cooking skills, fitness levels to their financial smartness and even their quick wit. The sub-rounds included Culinary Queen, Fitness Queen, Digital Diva, Mrs Wit & Wisdom, Smart Shopper and Talent Queen.
Dr. Divya VC took home the crown of Mrs.Chennai 2017 after the glorious ceremony on Saturday night. Sweety Laila emerged as the 1st runner-up and Dr. Bhavana Rao was the 2nd runner-up of the contest.
