CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu government on Saturday appointed A K Viswanathan as commissioner of Greater Chennai Police.
He replaces Karan Singha who has now been transferred and posted as member of Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.
M Ravi has been posted as ADGP, headquarters in the existing vacancy, while Sunil Kumar Singh as additional commandant-general of home guards.
