TiE Chennai organizes a Startup SIG session on “Negotiations” for aspiring entrepreneurs
Chennai, March 30, 2017: TiE Chennai organized a Startup SIG session on “Negotiations” in the Auditorium of IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai. The session was conducted by Mr. Chendil Kumar, passionate public speaker and corporate trainer, with more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing. Targeting entrepreneurs from Tamil Nadu and members of Start-up Special Interest Group at TiE Chennai, the session addressed the skills of Negotiations, what it is and how it should be done for an organization in the future.
We all negotiate on a daily basis. On a personal level, we negotiate with friends, family, landlords, car sellers and employers, among others. Negotiation is also the key to business success. No business can survive without profitable contracts. Within a company, negotiation skills can lead to career advancement. Studies have shown that revealing some information, even when it’s unrelated to the negotiation, increases the outcome. Mr. Chendil’s session gave a guidance on negotiation skills right from the initial idea to till the execution.
