30th March, 2017, Chennai: Phoenix MarketCity, the city’s hub for live entertainment will be hosting ‘Funk The Joint’, a Classic band for a scintillating music performance in different genres of Pop, Funk and elevated Jazz on 2nd April, 2017 (Sunday).
Funk the Joint is a multi-genre band that comprises of Brian Paiva on the vocals, Anthony Karuna playing the keyboard, Gerard Joseph on the bass, Bruce Lee, strumming the guitar and Shyam Rao on the drums.
Brian Paiva is an ace singer and guitarist who started playing from the age of 7 and is well associated with top names in the industry such as Shruti Haasan, Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja & Vijay Antony.
Anthony Karuna is a keyboard whiz who has been in the music recording industry for two decades & has produced over 700 songs.
Gerard Joseph runs a well equipped studio and has composed and arranged many albums & jingles.
Bruce Lee, has been in the rock circuit for more than a decade now. He works for all the leading Music Directors, including A.R.Rahman, Harris Jayaraj, Devi Sri Prasad and many more.
Shyam has been rocking the music scene in Chennai since the ‘80s and is known for his finesse in his music renditions.
