Chennai, 15^thMarch, 2016– Taking the audio experience to a newer height, Sony India unveiled MDR-XB650BT, a powerful addition to its wireless headphones line-up. Packed with a distinct finish in a vast array of colours, the new MDR-XB650BT combines uncompromising sound quality and portability with EXTRA BASS™, aesthetic design, and an urban appeal.

Extra bass series line-up of Sony headphones and earphones has been a success ever since its launch in 2014 with “Extra Bass model” MDR-XB450 headphones. There has also been an increase in demand for Bluetooth wireless headphones making Sony’s premium extra bass Bluetooth model MDR-XB950BT popular among music enthusiasts.

Considering the increased demand of Bluetooth headphones in more price competent range, Sony India expanded its extra bass Bluetooth line-up further by introducing MDR-XB650BTwhich comes with a 30mm driver, incorporated bass booster structure and dedicated EXTRA BASS diaphragm. This aids inprecisely carving out the rhythm and groove, giving a rich feeling of bass.

Keeping you wire-free, One-touch Bluetooth® connection and music playback is offered via NFC. Compatible with AAC and aptX® Bluetooth® codecs, it enables a premium audio quality sound even when listening wirelessly.

The headphones have been designed specifically to enhance the playback for deep bass. Fitting with an increased contact surface area, it achieves a stable fit that can withstand the punchy and deep bass notes. The ear pads have a soft texture and fit close to the skin, achieving excellent wearing comfort and well-balanced sound.
