~ 4-Day celebrations aptly themed ‘Champions @ Work; Champions @ Home’
Chennai, March 8, 2016: Access Healthcare Services, the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company that specialises in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), today kick-started their 4-day International Women’s Day celebrations. As part of the celebrations, women-centric events will be spread over 4 days (March 8 – 11, 2016) at the company’s premises.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Vardhman Jain, Vice Chairman, Access Healthcare Services said, “At Access Healthcare, our women employees are among our top priorities. It’s our continuous endeavour to ensure that they grow in a safe atmosphere and are given the best possible care and guidance. With 1,433 women employed in the company across offices and delivery centres in India, Access Healthcare, an equal opportunity employer has a woman-man employee ratio of 37:63. These events around International Women’s Day is just our small way of saying Thank You to them for being there and for the excellent value that they bring in to the organisation.”
Events include:
* Self-defence workshops for women employees
These one-hour workshops will be held at Access Healthcare centres across the country on all four days. Each batch will have a maximum of 35 members. The company has partnered with Axis Bank for this initiative. Axis Bank has organised trainers from Combat Kinetics, South India’s largest Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Academy. The self-defence workshops will be intense and are aimed at leaving the women with a real sense of their capability and effectiveness in a violent situation. The sessions will be a combination of the basic principles of traditional Indian martial arts, urban survival tactics and psychology. The result will be a highly effective self defence system that goes beyond just winning a fight.

A cookery contest of home-cooked dishes with 3 women employees per team on March 9, 2016.
* Colour Purple
A ‘Purple Dress’ theme for all women employees
* Leaders Speak
As part of this program women TLs and Managers across Access Healthcare facilities can speak / write, about the challenges that women have faced and how they have overcome it to reach the position where they are today. This note/ speech will also need to include the important qualities and key attributes that has helped them reach where they are today; and their suggestions to the other upcoming women leaders in Access Healthcare.
