Apollo Sugar rolls out special awareness campaign on World Obesity Day
Highlights importance of diet and exercise in managing Obesity and Diabetes
26th November, 2016, Chennai: To mark the occasion of ‘World Obesity Day’ Apollo Sugar Clinics, organized a campaign in the city to create awareness on the complications of obesity. As part of the event, Apollo Sugar tied up with flux gym to unveil advanced cycling machine which was inaugurated by leading Tamil actor Ms. Simran and Apollo Sugar Diabetologist, Dr. Usha Ayyagiri. The event also included Zumba session by Ms. Madhanika where many patients grooved to Zumba music.
This was followed by yoga for knee pain and Back pain by Ms. Nisha B.The particpants then relished an obesity friendly buffet created by Apollo Sugar Dieticians. It was a power packed event where the participants engaged themselves with joy and enthusiasm.
Tamil Actor Ms. Simran, after inaugurating the session briefed the media on importance of diet and exercise in leading a healthy lifestyle. She appreciated this noble cause taken up by Apollo Sugar clinics.
