HYDERABAD, November 19, 2016: The second National Conclave on Cyber Security will deliberate on Cyber Attack Scenario, Telangana Cyber Security Policy and Cyber Security experiments on critical infrastructurewith experts from Indian Government, Private Sector and global firms. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Additional Secretary, MEITY - Govt. of India will deliver the National perspective while the global perspective is being given by Mr. Ram Levi, CEO - Konfidas and Mr. CP Gurnani, Chairman - NASSCOM and MD & CEO - Tech Mahindra is Guest of Honor.
An expert discussion is being held on Cyber Attack Scenario with Mr. G T Venkateswar Rao, MD - Telangana State Technology Services (TSTS)as Moderator and having Mr. K K Mokhey, CEO - NII Consultingas Keynote Speaker, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, IPS - DIGand Prof. Sandeep Shukla, Chair Professor - IIT Kanpur as co-speakers in the panel.
The two-day National Conclave is being organized by Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) and Kenes Exhibitions and supported by Dept. of Information Technology, Government of Telangana will be held at HICC Novotel on November 22-23 with Shri. K T Rama Rao, Hon'ble Minister for IT, Government of Telangana as Chief Guest for the event.
The two-day Cyber Security Conclave is also hosting the FIRST Security Innovation Challenge to encourage Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) & startups. In alignment with Cyber Security Policy of Govt. of Telangana, the two-day Conclave will host the mini Hackathon to explore new solutions to this rising cyber threat to companies and public at large. A team of 3 experts (2 from Konfidas and 1 from CSC/SCSC) will shortlist 12 applicants to participate in the Innovation Challenge. A session of 1 hour will be given for 12 shortlisted participants to make a 4 minutes presentation which will be graded by the expert panel. The audience will also be roped in to vote for the public’s favorite. The Top 3 winners and the public’s favorite will be awarded a certificate from the CSC/SCSC.
Some of the renowned cyber security experts who will speak include Mr. Saket Modi, co-founder & CEO of Lucideus; Mr. CP Gurnani,CEO & MD - Tech Mahindra, Prof. Sandeep Shukla, IIT Kanpur, Dr. Dev Raj, VP – Pro Info, Mr. Alok Gupta, CEO - Pyramid Cyber. Global speakers include Mr. Ram Levi, CEO – Konfidas, Dr. Ajay Sharma, Chief Regulations and Investor relations at TOBLOCKCHAIN, Netherlands, Mr. Shay Shabtai– Strategist and Mr. Eli Zilberman from Kofidas and Mr. Rami Efrati, Founder/President at Firmitas Cyber Solutions from Israel among others.
The key topics under discussion in the SCSC Conclave 2.0 include Simulation, Managed Security Services, BFSI, Cloud Challenges, Burn Your Own Devices, Identity & Access Management. The two-day event will also have live demos by Intel, Transition Systems & Trust Wave – global leaders in cyber security.
