Lavita is a versatile singer and composer from Mangalore who has won the acclaimed Konkani TV reality show, ‘Soad 2’. In 2011, she released her first Konkani Album called 'Xetam Merer' which received the ‘Best album of the year’ and the ‘Best female vocalist’ award. She has also lent her voice as a backing vocalist for the Hindi movie, ‘Tamasha’ and some Kannada and Tamil movies.
