A unique academic opportunity provider offering wholesome career solutions to students seeking an international exposure. With markets becoming more access-friendly the world has shrunk in terms of distance. Business today is truly global and this has increased the need for quality and internationally competent human resource.

Todays’ scenario is one where there is no dearth of jobs or career opportunities but there is a dearth of people with internationally employable skill sets that match a global standard.

India, a country blessed with ample human resources, should have been the one economy most benefited from this current business scenario. But lack of a standardized Global skill set training, Intense competition, lop sided factors, access to infra structure, hurdles in obtaining skill sets, non conducive learning environment and many other factors stand in the way of our students getting an international education that will make them a globally competent and employable asset.

International education coupled with global opportunities is the panacea for this situation. But other factors such as cost, pre-requisites, time budgeting and procedures put this goal of a global education out of the reach of many.

International Centre for Global Excellence (ICGE) is an institution conceived and conceptualized as an answer to this

ICGE provides a platform replete with the needed infra structure, faculty, ambience and most importantly accreditation, which provides the foundation on which a student from a non-native English speaking country such as India can start building his or her Global academic career on.

A very economical approach in terms of time and money, ICGE has opened many avenues to International education opportunities and exposure to students; ones that were out of reach to them just a short while ago.

Under these auspices, The VICTUS INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF HOSPITALITY AND MANAGEMENT is being inaugurated today. The academy today launches a 4 semester advanced program in hospitality management in association with St. Clair College of Canada, a public institution.

The first semester will be taught by North American trained faculty at the module delivery center at Ekkaduthangal in Chennai and the rest of the semesters at Canada.

This split delivery approach offers many benefits to the students such as time and money economy, ease of integration etc. Moreover, VICTUS has also tied up with Skills and Knowledge Unlimited, the well known life skill training institution from Michigan, USA to deliver their program as an add on to the students of the hospitality program.

Upon completion of the first semester in India at the comfort and advantage of their home country, the student will be fully equipped to embark upon an international career.

Among other highlights of the program the one that stands out the most is the agreement that St. Clair has with Disney, offering the chance for the student to work at Disney world, Florida for 6 months, replacing a semester. This one of a kind exposure opportunity is exclusive to the students of this program. This program with Disney also has the participation of The Central Michigan University, USA.

The delivery of this program is through module delivery centers manned and managed by industry players so as to give the students a hands-on approach. These freestanding centers are, in their truest sense Global, in that, the infra structure, learning tools and the decor (artifacts that represent various countries and its culture) will give a slice of the International Academic experience for every student who steps in.

The Chennai center will be managed by RR education Services, a part of the OM Shakhty Hospitality Group, which owns many star hotels including the famous star, rated RR inn at Tirunelveli.

Work is under way to open more module delivery centers at Tirunelveli, Madurai and Coimbatore in India and Colombo in Sri Lanka. The Chennai center is being inaugurated by
