GoAir increases connections to North East for Durga Puja

* Introduces first Chennai - Kolkata direct flight to ease Puja rush

* Additional direct flights from Delhi to Kolkata and Guwahati

* Rising demand for flights to Puja owing to official holiday season declared in Kolkata

Chennai, 22nd September, 2016: GoAir, one of India’s fastest growing airlines, today announced the commencement of additional flights and feeder connections to deal with the growing demand for flights into Kolkata and Bagdogra during the busy Durga Puja period.

The additional flights will now ensure that GoAir flies Delhi to Bagdogra twice daily commencing on the 3^rd of October, 2016 and Delhi to Kolkata thrice daily commencing on 4^th of October 2016.

Further GoAir will be introducing its first ever direct flight from Chennai to Kolkata effective 12^th October onwards.

Bookings can be availed through the company website, www.GoAir.in or online travel portals, GoAir Call Centre, airport ticketing offices, through travel agents, and the GoAir App that is available on both Apple iOS and Google Android. Passengers will be required to download the latest version of the Apps to be able to make the bookings.

The airline had recently announced Hyderabad as its 23^rd destination and will be adding to its existing tally of 144 daily flights and approximately 975 weekly flights across 22 destinations. The GoAir route network spans prominent business metros as well as key leisure destinations across the Indian subcontinent. Through this route network GoAir ensures a smart value-for-money option for both business and leisure travellers, without compromising on either safety or service factors. The airline operates on these routes with its state of the art Airbus A320 fleet.
