CHENNAI: Police have increased security in and around Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan School, K.K. Nagar, following a scare among parents about foiled attempts of kidnapping at the school.
A police officer said, “A few days ago, rumour spread that a student was allegedly approached by an autorickshaw driver while returning home. Neither the parents nor school management made any complaint. But on information from parents, we have decided to increase security to the school.”
Besides sending a strong advisory to enhance protection system for the students in and around the school, the police officers visited the school thrice and held discussion with the management.
