SRM students are always on their move to achieve new milestones. The fastest growing formula student team of India, Team Camber Racing broke yet another by launching its Formula Student car CR16 -German Edition which is going to roar in the Hockenheim ring, Germany, next month.
The car was unveiled in the Dr. T.P. Ganesan Auditorium, SRM University and was graced by the honorable presence of the Vice chancellor Dr. Prabir K. Bagchi, Director E&T Dr. C. Muthamizhchelvan, HOD of Automobile Engineering and team principal Dr. Leenus Jesu Martin, and Sharda Motors Industry Limited CEO and R&D head Dr. S. Rajadurai.
Camber Racing has always had a reputation of growing exponentially, and it indeed has delivered to it with its sixth car, CR16. The race car is equipped with full Aero package, adjustable ARB, launch control and many other extraordinary features which has taken its performance to the next level. The car weighs under 185 kilograms and is powered by KTM duke 390 engine which is tuned to churn out the power of 40 horses and can accelerate from 0-100kmph in a staggering 4.6s.
With the exceptional success of the contender for the event, and the dedication and hardwork behind its creation, the team hopes to set an international benchmark next month and aims to continue with Camber Racing's legacy- 'Building people, not just cars!'.
